On the model of 19th-century screens, Vasilev created a wall unit that, while inspired by the past, embodies decidedly contemporary concepts: the result is Plissé, a hybrid object that combines two apparently distant realities. The visual airiness of Plissé conceals a solid structure consisting of modular panels, held together by supporting shelves.
The modernity of this bookcase also lies in its flexibility: its free-standing design makes it highly versatile and equally suitable
for home and professional environments.
